LOS GATOS FOOD TRUCK FEST

For the second year in a row, Russ Stanley, owner of La Hacienda, 18840 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road, continues the culinary summer series of the Los Gatos Food Fest 5-9 p.m. Friday, May 31. The weekly Friday food extravaganza officially began Friday, May 17 and features live music and the presence of hugely popular food trucks. VASONA VIBRATIONS OPENING CONCERT

For the 11th consecutive year, Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department and South Bay Folks team up to bring you free, family-friendly concerts 5-7 p.m., every Saturday in June and July at Vasona Lake County Park, 333 Blossom Hill Rd. The concerts begin Saturday, June 1 and are located on the lawn near the Ranger Office down the hill from the pedestrian entrance at University Avenue and Pepper Tree Lane. MONTALVO ARTS CENTER'S FOOD AND WINE CLASSIC X

Foodies rejoice! The most delicious day of the year in Silicon Valley will fall on Sunday, June 2 when Montalvo Arts Center, 15400 Montalvo Rd., will host its 10th Food & Wine Classic. More than 20 of the Bay Area’s most acclaimed chefs and more than 20 of Northern California'’s finest wineries will participate, treating attendees to a luxurious evening of haute cuisine and wine tasting. The event will run 5:30-8:30 p.m., preceded by an exclusive reception for VIP ticket buyers at 4:30 p.m. Tickets start at $225 per person. Funds generated from the food and wine will support Montalvo'’s arts and education outreach programs. EVOLUTION OF GREEN: ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVISM IN SANTA CLARA VALLEY

Evolution of Green is an exhibit sharing the stories of those individuals and groups whose experiences have shaped the evolving narrative of the valley's environmental story for the past 50 years 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday and Friday and noon-4 p.m. Wednesday and Sunday through Sept. 1 at the History Museum of Los Gatos, 75 Church St. Details: 408-354-2646.
