Los Gatos Food Fest is Back!
Food trucks return to the Hacienda Inn, 18840 Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd. at 5 p.m. Friday, May 17.
For the second year in a row, Russ Stanley, owner of La Hacienda, 18840 Saratoga-Los Gatos Road, kicks off another summer series of the Los Gatos Food Fest 5-9 p.m. Friday, May 17.
The weekly Friday food extravaganza will feature live music and the presence of hugely popular food trucks such as Lobster Shack, Pollo Frito, Rib Whip, Sajj falafel and Takoz Mod Mex. Nothing Bundt Cakes will serve dessert.
The event continues every Friday evening at the same time through Sept. 13.
The LG Food Fest will offer at each event between six and eight gourmet food trucks, craft beer, and wine.
The food will range from tasty kebabs, lobster rolls, short ribs, shrimp po’ boy, falafels, gourmet grilled cheese and much more.
Craft beer and wine will be served.
The stage area will feature local Bay Area bands showcasing a display of rock, pop, top '40s, '80s, The Beatles, Elvis, and country music playing the entire night, according Stanley.
The LG Food Fest began last year with the purpose of bringing the community together, Stanley said.
"Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy some great food, rocking music and beverages every Friday night," he noted.
