Thanks to Los Gatos Patch reader Carol Musser for sending these two great photos of the service project the Lions participated in this past weekend.

The had a Christmas party the evening of Friday, Dec. 16 at The Villages of Almaden and instead of gifts, every member brought socks to be donated to those in need.

According to club spokeswoman Carol Musser, more than 170 pairs of socks were collected.

"It is something easy to do and so well appreciated and needed by those who receive them," Musser said.
