The San Francisco Giants won the World Series Sunday evening sweeping the Detroit Tigers by a 4-3 score.
During a four-hour game that went into extra innings, the Giants captured the Major League Baseball championship, two years after beating the Texas Rangers in Game 5 by a score of 3-1.
The team now comes home for major celebrations in the South Bay, Peninsula and City of San Francisco.
Patch Editor and die-hard Giants fan Jacob Bourne is reporting that the Giants parade is Wednesday, Halloween Day, at 11 a.m. starting on Market Street and ending at City Hall in San Francisco with a ceremony.
"Should be lots of great photos to be taken, and it's a good chance to ask readers if they're going," he posted on Facebook.
