- Selected with partner David Zhang at the state qualifier tournament last weekend as an alternate for state speech and debate tournament
- Selected for Los Gatos Rotary's Enterprise Leadership Conference March 6-8
- Vice president of LGHS Future Business Leaders of America Club
- Mostly a straight-A student

"It's kinda simple with me," says David, when asked what's behind his successes in life so far. "All of the things that I do, I do because I'm genuinely interested in them."
He added: "I like to talk, so I joined the debate team. The Enterprise Leadership Conference seemed like a good opportunity, so I applied. When you do what you like and what you are interested in, you'll be more invested and passionate. And that passion, in the end, is the key to success."
