More than 200 people gathered at Blossom Hill Park Friday afternoon to celebrate, along with crowds at four other town parks,
The party included hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks, a live band, fun children's activities and the singing of the Happy Birthday song and America the Beautiful led by former Los Gatos Mayor John Lochner and Council member Steven Leonardis.
The town's Aug. 10, 1887 incorporation was also celebrated at Bachman, Belgatos, La Rinconada and Live Oak Manor parks with similar observances.
Commemorative fans and market bags with the town's jubilee logo were distributed, along with birthday cake.
