Retail Firearms Sales on Los Gatos Council Agenda Tonight

Extension of emergency moratorium on sale of retail firearms, ammunition or destructive devices could be in place until Feb. 2, 2014.

The Los Gatos Town Council will meet at 7 p.m., Monday, April 15, at Town Council Chambers, 110 E. Main St. to discuss the following:

On the consent agenda, which allows the five-member body to approve all items with one vote, unless an issue is pulled for discussion:

  • Authorize Town Manager Greg Larson to execute an agreement with Frontier Ford for the purchase of a Ford F450 Cab Chassis in an amount not to exceed $61,417.
  • Landscaping and Lighting Assessment Districts No. 1 and 2. Adopt resolution describing improvements and directing preparation of town engineer’s report for fiscal year 2013-14.
  • Approve the fiscal year 2013-14 West Valley Clean Water Program budget and authorize the West Valley Sanitation District to collect program related fees on behalf of the Town of Los Gatos.
  • Adopt resolution authorizing Larson to apply for Transportation Development Act Article 3 funds for fiscal year 2013-14 from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission.
  • Parks and Public Works Northside Parking Lot Improvements Project.
