Happy 107th Birthday, Rotary!

Los Gatos Mayor Steve Rice presents town resolution to Los Gatos Rotary at Tuesday night's council meeting, declares Feb. 23 'Rotary Day.'

Los Gatos Mayor Steve Rice honored the Los Gatos Rotary Club with a proclamation Tuesday evening celebrating the organization's 107th birthday.

Members of both groups of Rotarians in town, the Tuesday afternoon and early Wednesday morning clubs, were in attendance to receive the proclamation.

Mayor Rice signed the proclamation along with presidents Jane Darwin (Wednesday Morning Rotary Club) and William Piche (Tuesday Afternoon Rotary Club) and declared Feb. 23 as "World Understanding and Peace Day."
