Sheriff's Arrests: Man Held on $40K Bail for Possession

A look at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office's arrest and booking reports for July 15-16, 2012. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Contracting Without a License, Grand Theft

  • An Dang, 44, of Milpitas, July 16, 3:16, at West Younger Avenue in San Jose, for grand theft of personal property, contracting without a license and fraudulent use of false contractor’s license. 

Under the Influence

  • Emily Holm, 23, of Campbell, at Josefa and Auzerais in San Jose, July 15, 11:40 p.m., for a misdemeanor involving driving under the influence.
  • Walker Fisher, 22, of San Jose, July 16, 9:15 p.m., at McClellan and Bubb roads in Cupertino, for being under the influence. Bail set at: $5,000.  
  • Michael Parker, 46, of Hollister, July 15, 11:59 p.m., at Welburn Avenue and Santa Teresa Boulevard in Gilroy, for being under the influence of a controlled substance. 

Selling or Aiding in the Selling of Stolen Property

  • Sherrisa White, 33, of Vallejo, July 15, 3:45 p.m., at Highway 17 and Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino, for driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher, selling or aiding in the selling of stolen property, false personation exposing the victim, and petty theft with specified priors. Bail set at $5,500. 

Vehicle Code Violations

  • Kayla Grandstaff, 22, of Milpitas, at West Younger Avenue in San Jose, for driving with a license suspended or revoked. 
  • Lois Marler, 50, of Milpitas, July 16, 9 a.m., at West Hedding Street in San Jose, for driving with a suspended license. 
  • Jonathan Garza, 25, a transient, July 15, 12:40 a.m., at Welburn Avenue and Santa Teresa Boulevard in Gilroy, for three vehicle code citations involving driving with a suspended license, driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher and driving under the influence. 
  • Elismarie Dumas, 40, of San Mateo, July 16, 11:30 p.m., at De Anza Boulevard in Cupertino, for two vehicle code violations involving driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher and driving under the influence. Bail set at $5,000. 
  • Sajjad Ahmakhasnii, 20, of Los Gatos, July 16, 9:45 a.m., at West Hedding and San Pedro streets in San Jose, for driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher. 
  • Jose Santoyohernandez, 31, of San Jose, July 16, 9:20 a.m., at Saratoga Avenue and Prospect Road in Saratoga, for driving with a suspended license and following too closely. Bail set at $10,000. 
  • Veronica Jimenez, 48, of Campbell, July 16, 2:55 p.m., at West Younger Avenue in San Jose for giving false information to a peace officer. 
  • Adrian Plancarte, 33, of Campbell, July 16, 3:05 p.m., at West Younger Avenue in San Jose, for giving false information to a peace officer. 

Petty Theft

  • Stacy Quezada, 24, of Gilroy, July 16, at 3:55 a.m., at Murray Avenue and Leavesley Road in Gilroy for petty theft of personal property. Bail set at $5,500. 

Robbery

  • Tyler Henry, 20, of Costa Mesa, July 16, 8:30 a.m., at the South County Courthouse in Morgan Hill, for second degree robbery.

Possession

  • Bryan Collins, 31, of Mountain View, July 16, 9:15 a.m., at West Younger Way. in San Jose, for possessing narcotics/a controlled substance. Bail set at 40,000. 
  • Enrique Ortega, 19, of Gilroy, July 16, 10:30 a.m., at Terraine Street in San Jose, for evading a police officer while in a vehicle and possession of marijuana/hash for sale.
