Sheriff's Arrests: Drug Crimes, Embezzlement, DV

A look at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office's arrest and booking reports for June 23-25, 2012. The following arrest information does not indicate a conviction.

Domestic Violence

  • Ayshah Maiorano, 39, of Los Gatos, June 23, 4:53 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office, 55 W. Younger Ave. in San Jose, for misdemeanor inflict corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant.
  • Xiaoyu Zhou, 44, of Cupertino, June 24, 9:45 p.m., at Wunderlich Drive in Cupertino, for misdemeanor battery on former spouse, fiance or cohabitant. Bail set at $10,000.
  • Nathaniel Jones, 51, of Milpitas, June 25, 3:51 p.m., at the Santa Clara County Superior Court, 115 Terraine St. in San Jose, for misdemeanor using/being under the influence of a controlled substance, reckless driving and felony inflict corporal injury on spouse/cohabitant.

Protective Order Violation

Patrick Caudill, 31, of Gilroy, June 23, 1 a.m., at 625 Tatum Ave. in Gilroy, for misdemeanor violation of protective order. Bail set at $5,000.

DUI

Jose Delgado Cemer, 43, of Morgan Hill, June 23, 8 a.m., at 20 4th St. in Morgan Hill, for a suspended license and felony DUI with three separate priors.

Possession

  • Charles Brooks, 23, of San Jose, June 23, 12 noon, at Highway 85 and Saratoga Avenue in Saratoga, for misdemeanor driving while license is suspended, possession of marijuana in vehicle and felony possession of narcotics, controlled substance. Bail set at $12,000.
  • Candie Price, 43, of Campbell, June 23, 1:30 p.m., at 2856 Joseph Ave., No. 8 at Tomasina in Campbell, for misdemeanor use/being under the influence of a controlled substance, and felony possession of narcotics, controlled substance. Bail set at $15,000.
  • Jaime Price, 48, of Campbell, June 23, 1:30 p.m., at 2856 Joseph Ave., No. 8 at Tomasina in Campbell, for felony parole hold, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana over 28.5 grams or one ounce, and using/being under the influence of a controlled substance.
  • Anthony Peterson, 26, of San Jose, June 23, 2:35 a.m., at Calvert Street and Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino, for misdemeanor petty theft/personal property, narcotics registrant, resisting, delaying, obstructing a peace officer and using/being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bail set at $14,500.
  • Coe Willson, 54, of Gilroy, June 25, 1:45 a.m., at 10th Street and Eigleberry in Gilroy, for felony possession of controlled substance and civil misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail set at $265,000.
  • Michel Thyne, 47, of Watsonville, June 25, 11 a.m., at Chestnut and 10th in Gilroy, for felony possession of controlled substance for sale, misdemeanor possession of narcotics paraphernalia, failure to appear, driving with privileges suspended or revoked and using/being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Vehicle Code Violations

  • Truc Thuong, 22, of Milpitas, June 25, 9:30 a.m., at the San Jose Hall of Justice, Dept. 49, for misdemeanor driving with a suspended license.
  • Abraham Burciaga, 44, of San Jose, June 25, 2:30 p.m., at the South County Courthouse in Morgan Hill, 301 Diana Ave. and Butterfield Blvd., for speeding, driving with privileges suspended or revoked, expired registration, failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility of vehicle, windshield obstructing view and driving with a suspended license. Bail set at $16,000.

Watercraft While Under the Influence

Muhamed Causevic, 35, of San Jose, June 24, 7:20 a.m., at 18390 Cochrane Road and Highway 101 in Morgan Hill, for misdemeanor use of watercraft while under the influence and possession of marijuana. Bail set at $2,362.

Embezzlement

Janvi Amin, 22, of Sunnyvale, June 15, 6:30 p.m., at 10150 Wolfe Road in Cupertino, for embezzlement.

Hit-And-Run

Julio Bernardino, 23, of Cupertino, June 25, 11:15 a.m., at 270 Grant Ave. in Palo Alto, for misdemeanor driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher and hit-and-run.

Vandalism

Juan Castaneda, 34, of Morgan Hill, June 25, 10:10 a.m., at the South County Courthouse in Morgan Hill, 301 Diana Ave. and Butterfield Blvd., for misdemeanor resisting, delaying, obstructing a peace officer, vandalism of more than $50,000 and felony possession of narcotics, controlled substance.

Contribute to Delinquency of Minor

Julio Garcia, 19, of Campbell, June 22, 4:32 a.m., at 19062 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Cupertino, for misdemeanor contribute to the delinquency of a minor and possession of alcoholic beverage under the age.

Petty Theft

  • Adriana Rodriguez, 34, of San Jose, June 16, 3:30 p.m., at 10150 No. Wolfe Rd. in Cupertino, for misdemeanor petty theft of personal property/larceny.
  • Raul Orozco, 43, of San Jose, June 16, 3:35 p.m., at 10150 No. Wolfe Rd. in Cupertino, for misdemeanor petty theft of personal property/larceny.

Harris back then said the department's records unit need time to research just how many of these sex crimes had been reported to police. I'll check with the district.
