The offenders in the 95033 zip code live in unincorporated Santa Clara County, or unincorporated Santa Cruz County, with a Los Gatos mailing address, so not within Town of Los Gatos boundaries.

The sheriff's report has Geiger's address as 25111 Soquel San Jose Road in the Los Gatos Mountains, with a zip code of 95033.

His occupation is listed as customer service.

Santa Clara County sheriff's Sgt. spokesman Kurtis Stenderup said Geiger is no longer in custody.

A reader, who asked for anonymity, said she's worried about sex offenders listing themselves as "transients" in police reports who end up living within town boundaries. She cited the latter case as an example of a convicted sex offender gone unchecked until police contact was made.
