Police/Sheriff Log: Burglar Steals Sunglasses, DUI, Auto Theft

The following crime information was provided by the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department and the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office.

ID Theft: 8:43 a.m. Aug. 22 at Pinehurst Avenue
Bench Warrant: 12:10 p.m. Aug. 22 at Winchester Boulevard and Lark Avenue, a 36-year-old woman was cited and released at the scene for a local bench warrant.
ID Theft: 8:57 a.m. Aug. 22 on Westchester Drive
Residential Burglary: 1:59 p.m. Aug. 22 on Reservoir Road
Commercial Burglary: 3:28 p.m. Aug. 22 on No. Santa Cruz Avenue, a suspect stole a pair of sunglasses from a business.
Commercial Burglary: 3:49 p.m. Aug. 22 on No. Santa Cruz Avenue
Vehicle Code Violation: 11:59 p.m. Aug. 22 at Blossom Hill Road and Oak Rim Way
Under the Influence: 11 a.m. July 24 on Ogallala Warpath Road, a 38-year-old unemployed man was arrested for misdemeanor using/being under the influence. Bail set at $20,000.
Vehicle Code Violation: 9:05 a.m. June 2 at Highway 17 and Santa Cruz Avenue, a 25-year-old Santa Cruz dishwasher was arrested for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked and an infraction for driving without due caution.
DUI: 2 a.m. July 27 at Lara Avenue and Highland Oaks, a 32-year-old Milpitas man was arrested for misdemeanor DUI. Bail set at $5,000.
Vehicle Code Violation: 7:15 p.m. July 11 at Highway 17 and Highway 85 in Los Gatos, a 46-year-old Campbell mechanic was arrested for misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
Auto Theft/Under the Influence: 10 a.m. Aug. 4 at Aldercroft Heights and Alma Bridge roads, a 33-year-old San Jose man was arrested for misdemeanor using/being under the influence of a controlled substance and felony theft or unauthorized use of vehicle.
Vehicle Code Violations: 12:10 p.m. May 10 at Highway 17 and No. Santa Cruz Avenue, a 25-year-old man was arrested for an infraction for having an expired registration and misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
