Los Gatos Police Blotter, May 14-20: Vehicle Theft, Burglary, DUIs

Monday, May 14

8:36 a.m., University Avenue: A phone was found and turned in as lost property.

8:58 a.m., Los Gatos Boulevard: A vehicle's wheels and tires were stolen.

10:29 a.m., University Avenue: A suspect filed a victim's federal income tax fraudulently using their name and social security number.

11:46 a.m., Nicholson Avenue and N Santa Cruz Avenue: A set of keys was found and turned in as lost property.

12:50 p.m., University Avenue: A stolen vehicle was recovered, and evidence inside was booked by police.

12:51 p.m., 470 N Santa Cruz Ave: A petty theft was reported from a parking lot. A suspect, Aaron Rakhra, was arrested.

2:07 p.m., 123 E Main St: An auto burglary was reported.

6:07 p.m., Surmont Drive: A residential burglary was reported.

Tuesday, May 15

3:03 a.m., Surmont Drive: A residential burglary was reported.

9:01 a.m., Blossom Hill Road: A vehicle was burglarized and several personal items stolen from inside.

9:41 a.m., unknown location: A multipurpose tool was found and turned in.

Wednesday, May 16

10:24 a.m., Castle Wood Drive: A woman reported that her wallet had been stolen from her vehicle.

11:23 a.m., San Benito Avenue: Lost property was reported.

6:41 p.m., Los Gatos Boulevard: A laptop was reported stolen from a vehicle with a window partially open.

Thursday, May 17

11:58 a.m., Palmer Drive: A residential burglary was reported.

Friday, May 18

4:01 a.m., Blossom Hill Road and Union Avenue: After a vehicle that looked like it had just been in a collision was found, Joseph Andrew Molina and Johnnie Angel Mendoza were arrested. Police found stolen property inside the vehicle, and the vehicle itself was found to be stolen.

3:14 p.m., San Benito Avenue: A residential burglary was reported.

3:23 p.m., Oka Road: A purse with credit cards was stolen after a parked vehicle's window was shattered in a fitness club parking lot.

4:32 p.m., Nicholson Avenue: A mental health incident was reported.

11:03 p.m., Massol Avenue: A fight involving multiple people occurred at a party.

Saturday, May 19

10:20 a.m., Belwood Court: An elderly male was reported missing.

10:29 a.m., Pollard Road: A petty theft was reported.

11:01 a.m., Bungalow Terrace: A residential burglary report was filed online.

11:36 a.m., Ferris Avenue: A petty theft report was filed online.

1:49 p.m., Castle Wood Drive: Joye Krystal was arrested after narcotic paraphernalia was located in a residence during a disturbance.

Sunday, May 20

1:20 a.m., University Avenue and Bachman Avenue: Benjamin Shane Bornstein was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

2:26 a.m., N Santa Cruz Avenue and Bachman Avenue: Michael David Brown was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a vehicle collision.

2:31 a.m., Vineland Avenue and Pine Cone Court: Clyde Rick Henry was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he was seen driving recklessly.

4:26 a.m., Harwood Road and Harwood Court: Jeffrey Gamboa and Terrell Boyd were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

8:03 a.m., Auzerais Court: A vehicle tampering and grand theft were reported.

4:00 p.m., Winchester Boulevard and Eaton Lane: Larry Anthony Gardea was cited for driving with a suspended license.

5:40 p.m., Bruce Avenue: A court violation was reported.
