Los Gatos Police Blotter, July 6-10: Slashed Tires, DUI Accident

Assault/Domestic Violence

• An assault/domestic violence incident occurred at 1:51 p.m., July 5, at Santa Cruz-Los Gatos Highway.

Outstanding Warrant

• Jesus Omar Guerrero-Ortiz, 22, 9:40 a.m., July 6, at Los Gatos-Almaden Road and Leigh Avenue, was cited and released for an outstanding warrant.
• Ashley Rose La Rue, 22, 5:21 a.m., July 7, at Camelia and Cherrystone Drive in Los Gatos, was cited and released for a $1,000 warrant out of Santa Cruz County.
• Jared Schaub, 34, 5:18 p.m., July 9, at Blossom Hill Road, for an arrest warrant.

Found Property

• A man's wallet was found on El Gato Lane at 9:48 p.m., July 6 and was turned into Los Gatos-Monte Sereno police.
• A citizen reported finding an unattended bicycle near his residence at 9:07 a.m., July 9 at Anne and Kensington ways in Los Gatos.

Lost Property

• An online report was made of lost property at 6:39 a.m., July 7 at North Santa Cruz Avenue in Los Gatos.

Vandalism

• An officer responded to the 800 block of Cherrystone Drive in Los Gatos at 4:48 a.m., July 7 for a vandalism report. Police located vehicles parked in the area with slashed tires.
• Several addresses on Mistletoe Road in Los Gatos were vandalized at 10:16 a.m., between July 7 and July 8. The vandals have not been identified or located.

Vehicle Code Violation

• Sahar Grecu, 35, 10 p.m., July 7, on University Avenue in Los Gatos, was contacted and cited for false registration tabs on her vehicle.

Public Intoxication

• An unnamed person was arrested for public intoxication at 1:55 a.m., July 8, at Las Miradas Drive and Arroyo Grande Way.

Residential Burglary

• An unknown suspect entered a victim's garage at 4:17 p.m., July 8 on Anne Way in Los Gatos and stole a bicycle.

Commercial Burglary

• A commercial burglary occurred at 7:31 p.m., at University Avenue in Los Gatos, between Shelburne Way and Farley Road in a storage unit.

Auto Burglary

• An unknown suspect burglarized a vehicle at 7:24 p.m., July 8 at Daves Avenue in Monte Sereno.
• An online report was made of an auto burglary at 10:04 a.m., July 8 at Riviera Drive in Los Gatos.

Petty Theft

• An online report was made of a petty theft at 8:01 a.m., July 9, at Riviera Drive in Los Gatos.

Car Accident

• A minor accident occurred at 4:48 p.m., July 9, at 16100 Los Gatos Blvd. and 699 Blossom Hill Rd.

Vehicle Tow

• A vehicle was towed for blocking a driveway at 10:21 p.m., July 9 at 242 Almendra Ave. in Los Gatos.

DUI Accident

• Randall James Denos, 40, 11:18 p.m., July 10, at Blossom Hill Road and Regent Drive in Los Gatos, for driving under the influence of alcohol and colliding into a parked car, which pushed that vehicle into two other cars.

Barking Dogs Complaint

• Anne Drive neighbors complained about barking dogs on Thomas Drive at 8:35 p.m., July 10. A report was taken for nuisance animals.
