Los Gatos Police Blotter, July 20-23: Underage Drinking, Auto, Commercial Burglary

Found Property

• Two backpacks were located in the middle of the street at Westhill and Surmont drives in Los Gatos at 4:56 a.m., July 20.
• Property was located on Los Gatos Boulevard and booked as safekeeping at 6:09 p.m., July 20.
• Property was located on West Hedding Street in San Jose at 6:10 p.m., July 21 and booked into the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department's property room.
• A ring was located by a citizen inside Peet's Coffee & Tea, 798 Blossom Hill Rd. at 8:35 p.m., July 21 and was turned into the LGMSPD.

Lost Property

• A person reported losing an identification card in January on Newell Court in Los Gatos.
• A resident reported a vehicle's license plate lost or stolen at 2:11 p.m., July 20 at High School Court in Los Gatos.
• A resident reported her wedding ring either lost or stolen at 1:41 p.m., July 23 at Rosalie Court in Los Gatos.

Commercial Burglary

• A suspect entered a business on Los Gatos Boulevard at 6:51 a.m., July 20 and stole quarters from a coin box.
• An attempted burglary occurred at a business on No. Santa Cruz Avenue at 7:59 a.m., July 20.
• Unknown suspects broke into a business on Los Gatos Boulevard during the night on July 22.

DUI

• James Pitroff, 55, 10:13 p.m., July 20, on Los Gatos Boulevard, on suspicion of DUI.
• Anthony Michael Fenimore, 53, 2:04 a.m., July 21, on Los Gatos Boulevard and Highway 85 in Los Gatos, on suspicion of DUI.

Public Intoxication

• Ryan Christopher Martin, 39, 1:28 a.m., July 21, on Almendra Avenue, on suspicion of public intoxication.

Narcotics Possession

• Judith Acosta, 46, 1:56 p.m., July 21, on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, being in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

Bike Accident

• A bike collided with a vehicle's open door at 2:29 p.m. July 22 at Andrews Street and Industrial Way in Los Gatos.

Underage Drinking

• Asa Chad Archibald, 18, was cited at 12:57 a.m., July 23, on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road for hosting a party in which alcohol and minors were present.

Auto Burglary

• An online report of an auto burglary at Blossom Hill Road in Los Gatos was made at 7:34 a.m., July 23.

• A citizen reported that her vehicle had been burglarized at 9:15 a.m., July 23 on Union Avenue in Los Gatos and that several pieces of personal property were stolen.

Grand Theft

• Two bikes were reported stolen from a carport on Bancroft Avenue in Monte Sereno at 9:14 p.m., July 23.
