Los Gatos Carpet Cleaner Charged With Drug Trafficking

Local man faces three felonies on allegations of transporting, selling, or distributing controlled substances.

A Los Gatos carpet cleaner has been arrested by Santa Clara County sheriff's deputies for drug trafficking.

According to arrest reports, James Grossman, 21, was charged with three felonies for transporting, selling or distributing a controlled substance, a violation of the California Health and Safety Code.

He was also charged with misdemeanor driving with privileges suspended or revoked.

Grossman appeared in Santa Clara County Superior Court drug division at 115 Terraine Street in San Jose at 10:45 a.m. Feb. 28 on the charges.

The Health and Safety Code says a person who is found guilty of transporting, importing into this state, selling, furnishing, administering, giving away, or offering to transport any illegal controlled substance can be sent to jail for three, four, or five years.
