Drivers heading south on state Highway 17 in Los Gatos are experiencing delays this morning after a car fire blocked a southbound lane along the roadway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The car fire was reported around 10:45 a.m. on southbound Highway 17 at Redwood Estates Road, according to the CHP.
No injuries were reported in connection with the car fire, which initially shut down both of the roadway's southbound lanes.
Only one southbound lane remained closed as of 11:25 a.m., causing delays in the area.
The lane was expected to reopen around noon, according to the CHP.
