Update: Nevada Amber Alert Children Safe

The kids were snatched in Nevada. Authorities believed the suspects were on their way to Mexico through the Bay Area. They never made it this far.

The Nevada Amber Alert was canceled after the children were safely recovered in Sacramento.

Two children, ages 3 and 9, were kidnapped in Nevada by their non-custodial parents. Authorities believe they are passing through Sacramento, then the Bay Area, on their way to Mexico.

The father has a history of violence. According to the Amber Alert, “Law enforcement believes the children are in danger of serious bodily injury or death.”

The suspects are:

  • Martin Cisneras Rosales, who also goes by the alias Martin Cisneros. He’s a Hispanic man, approximately 34 years old.
  • Amber Schenck, approximately 30 years old.

The kidnapped children:

  • Martin Angel Rosales, age 3.
  • Lillyanna Ramires, age 9.

San Mateo and Santa Clara counties are both included in the Amber Alert area.

The children were taken from Elko, Nevada on Wednesday.

It’s believed that they’re traveling in a dark blue Ford Mustang, late ‘80s or early ‘90s, possibly with a Nebraska license plate.
