Let's ALL Be Neighborly!

Hi LG Neighbors!
  This rainy weather has made some people extra cranky! I was backing out of my driveway today and was honked after entering traffic safely?
AGAIN! 

I live on Los Gatos Boulevard near Kennedy. I know....it's a busy street, duh. Sometimes on busy mornings it takes me five to ten minutes to simply get OUT of my driveway due to the congestion and/or the speed of the the traffic that whizzes by at 35-40 miles per hour. I live in a 25MPH zone btw. 

Let's all slow down and drive with caution when it's grey and rainy outside! Kids are harder to see, and dark colored cars are too! I really think that darker cars should be driving with their lights on in this grey weather, rain or no rain.

 I assume that the car that honked at me this morning (oh, blaring for a good 25 feet or so,) must have shot out of Filmer and into traffic behind me as I backed out. Los Gatos Boulevard was clear as I began backing out. Then, out of nowhere there's a dark blue car RIGHT behind me, I shifted into Drive, straightened out, and proceeded towards Los Gatos/Saratoga Ave. That's when the honking started. The driver of the blue car sped up (way over 25 mph) and honked at me as she veered around me. All of my neighbors got to enjoy this audible display of anger at 8:20 a.m.
Gee thanks. I'm sure they all appreciated that. 
  Hey driver of the blue car who lives off of Filmer. How about some kindness towards your neighbors? Can you sympathize with how hard your neighbors on LGB have it every single day when they're simply trying to exit their driveways? Can you drive with your headlights on when it's grey outside so that we can all SEE you? 
 Your horn use was unnecessary and rude. 
FYI, I found this paragraph in the Ca. DMV Handbook:
"Do Not Use Your Horn:
To alert other drivers that they made a mistake. 
Your honking may cause them to make more mistakes or to become angry and retaliate." 

Well, I am retaliating. I'm retaliating in the friendliest way that I can (given the circumstances,) by complaining in this public forum. SHAME ON YOU!
I am telling you right now that if you really want to get mad at ME, don't involve my entire neighborhood by sounding your horn, just flip ME off so that I can wave back and smile. You must be pretty proud of yourself for being a bully. BTW, I hope you read this and I also know that I must not KNOW you. None of my kind, polite neighbors in LG would ever treat one another like that. UGH!
