Thomas B. Pao, Sr. unexpectedly passed away at home on Aug. 6 while surrounded by family.

Born June 3, 1958 in Alameda County, Tom lived his life in the Los Gatos/San Jose area.

He's survived by Janet, his loving wife of 20 years and four loving kids Thomas Jr., Tyler, Haley, and Jake. He is also survived by grandson Thomas III, father Alvin, step mother Pat, brother Michael, sister Jo Pogue and brother in-laws Todd Pogue, Jack, Robert and Jeffrey Page. His mother, Mildred Gaylord, preceded him in death.

Tom loved and lived life everyday to its fullest. He adored his family who was always his first and most important priority.

He had a beloved relationship with his dog Jesse. He had many interests from being an avid outdoorsman; a sports fanatic and of course spending quality time with loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to services, which will be held Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Los Gatos. Following, Tom's celebration of life a reception will be held at Campo di Bocce in Los Gatos.

In lieu of flowers, the family would respectfully request donations for the Pao children's education. An account is set up at the Wells Fargo Bank under Thomas Pao children's fund.
