Then there's music that when hearing it results in uncontrollable smiling and happy feet. It demands your attention and your adrenaline. It is boogie-woogie—the music that fathered rock and roll.
And tonight, one of this country's great show bands will be as Mitch Woods and his Rocket 88s join us for Blue Wednesday.
For more than two decades, they have kept the rich heritage of American blues alive. They have been hailed by critics as, "as one of the brightest exponents of West Coast swing, Kansas City boogie-woogie and Chicago blues."
