Hi Sheila, Most of the time when a CLASS OF_____, is referenced, the reference is to the year of graduation. Although this picture was taken in 1939, the picture is of the Class of 1944. I moved to California the next year and am a member of the Class of "44. Interestingly enough, I was just trading emails with a classmate a few days ago and he mentioned he had received a copy of this same picture from you. Good Stuff!
