Hearing Set for Los Gatos ‘Pill Mill’ Doctor

Doctor faces 13 felony counts, including an involuntary manslaughter charge, alleging she sold controlled substances to patients involved in illegal drug diversion and resale.

Dr. Jasna Mrdjen, suspected of operating a "pill mill" at her Los Gatos pain management clinic, has a court hearing scheduled today to have a preliminary hearing date set.

The Mountain View resident, who has been out on bail since her arrest by Campbell police in May, is expected to appear at the hearing which is set for 1:30 p.m. in Department 30 at the Hall of Justice, 190 W. Hedding St. in San Jose.
