1949 Shooting Rats at The Sewer Farm
Shooting rodents in Los Gatos was a hobby more than 60 years ago.
In this photo, tree trimmer Nino Grimaldi and Councilman Clyde Kirkendall pose with rats they shot at the Sewer Farm. The sewer farm was at the north end of University Avenue, near the current location of Vasona Park.
