The results are in and has been named the best place to get a burrito in our pueblo in this week's Readers' Choice Los Gatos Patch poll.
La Esquina received 44 percent of the votes and edged out , which also had a strong showing.
In voting for La Esquina, faithful customer Ben Horwath said: "I've tried a lot of these on this list, but none compares to the freshness at La Esquina. You can see them making your food right there!"
The popular restaurant's hours of operation are 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday-Saturday. It only accepts, as its website says, "plain good old cash," to pay for its succulent comida.
Of the 194 votes received, La Esquina got 86 of them, followed by Baja Fresh, which got 62 votes, or 31 percent percent and and tied with 16 votes each.
"We're very excited we have won," said Guillermo Cornejo, manager of La Esquina.
In impecable castellano, Cornejo said the establishment has been in operation in Los Gatos for 12 years and is blessed with great customers who love its food, including the burritos.

From its website, we learned their burritos are served on either flour, spinach, whole wheat, or tomato tortillas. These are the choices:
