The results are in and has been named the best place for happy hour in Los Gatos in
and edged out 17 other competitors in town which also offer happy hour to their clients during the busy work week.
Of the 66 votes cast, Enoteca La Storia got 23 of them, followed by, with 16 votes and , with 9 votes.
Enoteca La Storia owner Mike Guerra was excited to hear the news and explained the popular Italian wine bar and restaurant offers happy hour 3:30-5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
"We're very thrilled," Guerra said upon hearing the news that his wine bar had won the poll. "We work hard to have interesting things on the menu."
During happy hour, Guerra explained, the restaurant offers special pricing on a selection of wines and discounted pricing on its two meat and cheese combo platters known as the piccolo and grande.
The establishment began happy hour a few months after it opened in Los Gatos in April of 2010. During happy hour, Guerra said, more and more customers area drawn to the business located at the Los Gatos Shopping Center.
"We have a nice lunch offering and with the patio open and the weather getting nice we're getting more and more business earlier in the day, which is nice," he said.
On its ELS had received one great review. Customer wrote: "Great service all around by an extremely knowledgeable staff, well coached by Mike and Joe. Wine selection is one of the best in the bay area and you just need to try the Arthur sandwich...."
