Los Gatos Kane Investment Management Celebrates 30 Years In Business

President and CEO Michael Kane began his investment management and financial planning business in 1982.

Kane Investment Management, Inc., 15466 Los Gatos Blvd., suite 213, is celebrating its 30-year anniversary after reaching the important milestone on Dec. 4.

Owned by this year's the trusted company marked the festivities with an evening of dining and dancing at Testarossa Winery in Los Gatos.

Since 1982, the independent firm offering investment management and financial planning services has grown in customer loyalty and support.

“We have been extremely fortunate in maintaining client satisfaction with our investment management services, especially in volatile economic times,” said Kane, a single father of two grown daughters who began his company in 1982.  

This year, Kane was also honored with the Rotarian of the Year award by the Los Gatos Morning Rotary Club.

“I want to congratulate Michael Kane and his firm for their 30 years of service to our community," said Los Gatos Mayor Barbara Spector.

Kane has held a variety of positions serving the community. He's served as chairperson of the Los Gatos Planning Commission, advisory board member of El Camino Hospital, board member of the Los Gatos Morning Rotary and advisory board member for the U.S. Army in Northern California. 

He has also received the People’s Choice award for Best Financial Manager in Los Gatos and a town commendation for Planning Commission service.

Kane is a Vietnam War veteran having received the U.S. Department and Defense Joint Service Commendation Medal. He also has 30-plus years of acting experience on stage and film including the Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival.
