Every Tuesday evening Viva Los Gatos presents their Wine Night. Hosted by Jerry Starr, Certified Sommelier, every evening features a different winemaker and their wines in an informal and casual format. Most wineries are local, however wineries from the greater Bay Area and beyond are also included in these fun and educational events.
Often celebrity winemakers will drop by to share their insights and stories. These wine-related luminaries have included Mike Grgich from Napa's Grgich Hills Winery, and Randall Grahm of Bonny Doon fame.
In addition there are "special events" where little known and highly prized wines are shared in an eclectic and informal tasting event.
