The People’s Choice Award was selected by the guests at the mixer. The winner was Jill Kroh for her photo of a cat peeking through a curtained window.

"The contest has been a great source of photos for the Chamber and the Town to use as we promote Los Gatos," said Ronne Nassi, executive director of the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce.

The winning entries can be seen on the chamber's Web site, she added.

Many of the photos submitted will be seen in the 2012 edition of the chamber’s annual Directory & Community Resource Guide which will be distributed in January.

"We have such a beautiful town that it isn’t difficult to snap great pictures. We’d love to see people start now taking pictures for next year’s contest," Nassi added.

A total of nine participants provided images to the chamber that market the town and hillside wineries as a wonderful place to live, work and visit.

The 2012 photo contest will be announced soon on the chamber's website, www.losgatoschamber.com.
