"Valentine's Day romantics, have you seen our package this year?" asks Hotel Los Gatos on its Facebook page, a photo of two glasses of champagne and candles growing in a beautiful red background of red lace and tiny hearts. Its Valentine's Day package includes overnight stay for two in one of its luxury suites, champagne and chocolates upon arrival, in-room continental breakfast, a dozen roses and honor bar credit of $10. Valentine's Day dinner includes mezethes, soupa and salata, kiria piata and epidorpio. "Love is the joy of the good, the wonder of the wise, the amazement of the Gods," the restaurant quotes at the end of its Valentine's 2013 dinner menu. Choice of one item per course. Priced per person at $95. A 20 percent service charge and applicable sales tax will be added to all checks.
