A Rainbow Over Good Samaritan
Nature seemed to be looking down on those sick, injured or afflicted at Good Samaritan Hospital on Feb. 16, and Los Gatos Patch user Vivian Chang was there to capture the moment.
Unsettled weather, a quick snap by staff member Vivian Chang—and the ephemeral moment of a full rainbow is revealed.
"I just happened to pull into Good Sam’s east parking lot, saw the rainbow and thought to myself, 'That’s the biggest rainbow I’ve seen outside of Victoria Falls. It must be my lucky day!'" Chang wrote in an e-mail.
"Actually, that rainbow made my day. I wanted to use my iPhone 4 camera function just to see how good of a shot I could get with my new smart phone, to see how 'smart' it really is. The shot turned out better than I expected. When I got out of the car and actually saw the rainbow in full as in the picture, I thought it looked like the rainbow ended right at Good Sam."
