Jon Garliepp and his wife Melody have owned and operated since 2005. Besides offering top notch customer service, quality products and exceptional savings, the Garliepps feel a deep sense of community in Los Gatos. They also show their concern for the environment by making recycling a key component of their business.

Jon Garliepp: As a kid, I dreamed of being a race car driver.

Patch: How does your personality play into your business?

Garliepp: I am a good listener and it helps me understand my customer’s needs.

Patch: At what moment did you decide to open a business?

Garliepp: During a moment when I read an article about other types of printer cartridge businesses opening up – it appealed to both my environmental and frugal side.

Patch: What inspired you?

Garliepp: The idea that I could share my ideas through my business.

Patch: Describe the biggest challenge of owning a business in the town of Los Gatos?

Garliepp: Getting the word out about our business to the people in town, being that we are located on Los Gatos Blvd.

Patch: Describe the best thing about owning a business in the town of Los Gatos?

Garliepp: The people of the town, they all have such great stories when they take the time to chat, and they are very loyal and supportive of local businesses.

Patch: What is one thing you would never change about your business?

Garliepp: The attitude of taking care of the customer with a commitment to quality products.

Patch: What is your business' greatest asset?

Garliepp: We carry a product that almost every household and business uses.

Patch: What is your favorite spot in town?

Garliepp: My home, it is so peaceful and full of wildlife.

Patch: What's one thing the community should know about you?

Garliepp: I am also a beekeeper.
