The community nonprofit organization Los Gatos Music & Arts kicked off its popular Music in the Park summer concert series at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 16 at the Civic Center Park.
The opening concert coincided with the town's celebration of Father's Day and entertaining the large crowds was the popular Joe Sharino, pop/rock/soul band.
The series ends Sunday, Aug. 25, with the performance of Talavya Indian Tabla drums.
Next Sunday's concert, June 23 is Rupa and The April Fishes.
