Los Gatos Kicks Off Jazz on the Plazz Concerts Wednesday
Ninth annual summer concert presentations will be third free series for town residents.
Jazz on the Plazz, Los Gatos' third free summer concert series, kicks off Wednesday, June 22, 6:30-8:30 p.m., through Aug. 24, at Town Plaza, at the intersection of West Main Street and Santa Cruz Avenue near the post office.
That means Los Gatans will have music bands to enjoy midweek all summer long and every weekend, Saturday and Sunday by either the concert series at Vasona County Lake Park or the concert series on the Civic Center lawn, respectively.
Some of this year's Jazz on the Plazz series' sponsors are Fidelity Investments, Lexus of Stevens Creek and Alaska Airlines among others.

Portable restrooms and hand washing facilities will be available next to the post office on Montebello Way.
The Town of Los Gatos Parks and Public Works Department prohibits the placement of unattended tables, chairs or other items reserving spaces on the Town Plaza Park lawn before 3 p.m. on concert dates, to allow for full public access and use of the park during the earlier hours of the day.
No blankets will be allowed on the lawn before or during the concerts because they trap heat and cause damage to the lawn, park officials say.
The following are prohibited: tents, umbrellas, grills, portable generators, items that disrupt the concert, tape or any other material, hanging or posting anything on trees, plants or light posts.
