Los Gatos realtor Mike Frangadakis, chairman of Operation Yellow Ribbon, an organization under the auspices of the afternoon Los Gatos Rotary Club whose purpose is to help local military personnel serving overseas, shared these photos with Los Gatos Patch of the 94th annual Veterans Day parade in downtown San Jose Sunday.

The former Vietnam War veteran formed Operation Yellow Ribbon in 2003, after the war in the Middle East started.

The parade was presented by the Santa Clara County United Veterans Council and began with a patriotic ceremony at Plaza de Cesar Chavez, followed by the marching of several military personnel and bands. The parade's grand marshal was United States Coast Guard Vice Admiral Paul F. Zukunft.

The South Bay Blue Star Moms also marched in the parade alongside a military Humvee armed with stars, flags, banners and pictures of their loved ones serving our country.
