Los Gatos Weekend Planner: March 21-24

There's always plenty to do in town for a relaxing good times.

The Los Gatos Saratoga Recretion 55-plus Program presents a musical evening with the 10th Avenue Swing Band at 7 p.m. Friday, March 22 at the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center, 208 E. Main St. Come dance, listen and socialize the fourth Friday of every month in the center's large hall. It's a fun evening of live music compliments of the 10th Avenue Band. Light refreshments and door prizes at every dance. Music styles include jazz, Big Band, swing, and more. Ballroom dancers can request two-step, salsa and more. Recommended donation of $5. BYE BYE BIRDIE AT FISHER MIDDLE SCHOOL

Raymond J. Fisher Middle School Musical Theater, 19195 Fisher Ave., presents the musical comedy Bye Bye Birdie at 7 p.m. March 21-23, with matinees scheduled for 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday March 23 and at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 24. The Museums of Los Gatos presents Perpetuation of Myth, a new exhibition at The Art Museum of Los Gatos, 4 Tait Ave. Perpetuation of Myth, curated by Nazanin Hedayat Munroe is on view through April 14. Perpetuation of Myth showcases the work of four Iranian-American artists with roots in the Bay Area whose works contemplate history, poetry and universal issues of connecting to heritage through art.
