THEATRE IN THE MOUNTAINS' 'THE WIZ'

The nonprofit organization Theatre in the Mountains and C.T. English Middle School present The Wiz at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 8-9 and 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 9-10 at the Loma Prieta Community Center, 23800 Summit Road, in the Los Gatos Mountains. Directed by Jillian Cummings, vocal direction by Ian Leonard and choreographed by Natalie Quilici. The play is based on the book by William F. Brown from the story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. MUSEUMS OF LOS GATOS ART EXHIBITS

Draw Me a Story, organized by the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco, presents original works of art in a thematic and nostalgic trip through the history of children’s book illustrators and illustration techniques. Storytelling in Pictures: From Idea to Art is an original exhibit organized by The Museums of Los Gatos that showcases the work of 21st century Bay Area children’s book illustrators. A WINE LOVERS WEEKEND!

The Summit Wineries—Regale Vineyards and Winery, Burrell School, Silver Mountain Vineyards, MJA Vineyards and Villa del Monte Winery—will be offering wine tasting, wine specials, gifts for the wine lover on your list and a special "heartfelt" celebration with wine tasting and more at each of its wineries noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 9-10. Silver Mountain is open Saturday, Feb. 9 only for this event. Each winery's tasting room fee and policy applies.
