The Los Gatos Little League celebrates its opening day ceremonies at 8 a.m., Saturday, April 7 at Baggerly Field in Blossom Hill Park. There will be a parade for the kids, speakers, and the ceremonial first pitch thrown by Umpire Dan Campagnolo. There will also be great food from Los Gatos Meats, carnival games, team photos, and lots of baseball. Tickets and bracelets for the games will be available for purchase at the field. "Exposures," an exhibit by the Los Gatos-Saratoga Camera Club, is inviting poets to view its collection 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 5, in the Los Gatos Council Chambers, 110 E. Los Gatos Saratoga Recreation is presenting a free health resource fair 1-4 p.m., Thursday, April 12, at the 208 E. Main St. The fair caters to residents older than 55 years of age and will cover several topics covered by participating agencies and vendors who will set up tables and booths to serve participants.
