A Look at St. Mary's Church 131 Years Ago

This historical photo of the Los Gatos Catholic parish was taken in 1881.

, today located at 219 Bean Ave., used to be called the Church of the Immaculate Conception.

This photo shows the parish's first worship in building in 1881 located at the corner of North Santa Cruz and Bean avenues. 

According to historical records, the building was constructed in 1878.
