3. The Los Gatos-Saratoga 55 Plus Program presents Miracle on 34th Street at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the Adult Recreation Center, 208 E. Main St. The free movie relates the tale of Santa falling down drunk in the Thanksgiving Day Parade and reluctant Macy’s supervisor Doris Walker (Maureen O’Hara) offers the job to a bearded Kris Kringle (Edmund Gwenn) purporting to be the real Santa! During the Christmas season, he shares a flat with Doris’s neighbor (John Payne), who has eyes for Doris.
