2.  presents Crossing Boundaries, an exhibition featuring the paintings of Ming Jing (Mike) Wang and the sculptures of Kristin Lindseth Rivera through Sept. 15, at 4 Tait Ave. at W. Main St. On Sunday, July 31, the museum sponsors a meet the artists reception 4-5 p.m., at the same location for members only. Enjoy the ninth free, family-friendly concert 5-7 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at Vasona Lake County Park. Celtic Heart is the featured act. The concerts are located on the lawn near the Ranger Office down the hill from the pedestrian entrance at University Avenue and Pepper Tree Lane. 4. If you've never attended the Gilroy Garlic Festival, this weekend is your chance. Doors open at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 30-31. More than 100,000 people are expected to participate in the 33rd "Stinking Rose" extravaganza at Christmas Hill Park. Details: 408-842-1625. 

5. The Los Gatos Shakespeare Festival continues this weekend with performances at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday July 30-31, at Oak Meadow Park, 333 Blossom Hill Rd. The Festival Theatre Ensemble will perform the non-Shakespearean Charley's Aunt comedy, the Tragedy of Macbeth and Twelfth Night. Performances end at around 9:30 p.m., so the public is asked to take blankets or jackets to stay warm and be comfortable. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and youth under 17 years of age. Details: 408-996-0635 or fteshakes@gmail.com.
