Jewish? Music? Festival? What Better Way to Spend a Sunday!

Get ready to rock it at the Jewish Community Center this Sunday.

As a fan of music (are there really any individuals out there who aren't?) and an even bigger fan of the Jewish community (a bit biased since I am Jewish!), I am sitting anxiously on the edge of my seat waiting for the days to pass until the first Silicon Valley Jewish Music Festival this Sunday.

The festival, brought to town by the Addison-Penzak Jewish Community Center for Jewish Life and Learning and the Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley, will be hosted at the Levy Family Campus in Los Gatos.

The festival is set to begin at 1 p.m. and will feature a variety of artists throughout the day, focusing on music appropriate for all ages. Included in the musicians are PapaHugs (best known for his fabulous children's concerts) and Elana Jagoda (who graced the most recent issue of the Jewish Community News with her lovely face.) A handful of other artists will be entertaining us throughout the day (full schedule available here).

Aside from the fantastic performances, the festival will offer a variety of local art vendors, fresh food booths, beer and wine tasting, a Kids Zone and the opportunity to have pictures taken in an old-fashioned photo booth. Free parking is available, and there is no entrance fee to attend the concerts!

For more information on the concert, please contact Joshua Fenton at 408-357-7413 or rabbifenton@svjcc.org.
