The PJ Library, a program of the Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley, invites the community to share the light and warmth of Hanukkah with a celebration and “Candlelighting at Santana Row.” In its fifth year, this event will feature booths at which Jewish local organizations will involve children in arts and crafts experiences and offer tasty treats and giveaways. There will be a stage show with a Hanukkah story, an informal concert of Hanukkah songs and other surprises coordinated by Retro Dome founders Shannon and Scott Guggenheim, and performed by school-age children from local synagogues and schools.
Take advantage of this fun, uplifting experience and come to Park Valencia at Santana Row (at Olin and Winchester Avenues) at 4:30-6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. The event is free and open to the public.
PJ Library ― a cultural literacy program for families raising Jewish children ― is a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, sponsored in our community by The Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley, the Jim Joseph Foundation and supported by local synagogues and Jewish agencies.
