New Department Heads in Los Gatos
Todd Capurso leaves to become Campbell's director of public works, Sandy Bailey to lead Community Development Department.
Los Gatos Public Works Director Todd Capurso has moved on to accept a similar position for the City of Campbell and Sandy Bailey has been appointed the new director of the town's Community Development Department.
"The town is saddened to lose him, but happy that he was successful in being selected for that position and pleased that he will be close," said Los Gatos Assistant Town Manager Pamela Jacobs.
"Los Gatos already has a very positive working relationship with Campbell and we believe that the relationship will be strengthened with Todd at he helm of Campbell Public Works."
Bailey, a longtime town employee, has been appointed as Community Development Director, filling the void left when Wendie Rooney retired, Jacobs said.
Bob Kass is serving as interim public works director and Capurso's resignation became effective June 21.
