Suspect Sought in Los Gatos Attempted Robbery Incident

A citizen was approached by a suspect late Monday evening during an attempted robbery, but no injuries were reported and no money or valuables were stolen, according to police.

A suspect is being sought by Los Gatos/Monte Sereno police after a report of an attempted robbery at about 10:30 p.m. Monday in downtown Los Gatos.

According to police Sgt. spokesman Stephen Walpole, the incident took place on North Santa Cruz Avenue and the victim was not injured during the crime.

No money or valuables were taken from the victim, Sgt. Walpole added.
