Winchester Mystery House 'Flashlight Tours' Now Open to the Public

Bay Area's 'original haunted house' invites the public next weekend and on Halloween Night, Oct. 31 to see its frightening maze of rooms and stairways.

A maze of 160 rooms and complicated and intricate thrilling passageways have returned to the Winchester Mystery House, at 6:30 p.m.-midnight next weekend Oct. 25-27 and Oct. 31, 525 So. Winchester Blvd. in San Jose.

Guests tour the "rambling, mysterious mansion at night with only the moonlight, a souvenir flashligh and their imagination to provide illumination through the bewildering" property, according to the event's website.

Tickets are $48. Enter promo code "BANG1013" to receive a $3 off discount.

Each evening, all ages are invited to dress up in their best Halloween costumes and visit the Ghirardeli Chocolate Trick or Treat Gardens, sponsored by the Ghirardeli Outlet in Milpitas.
