No, this is not the set of the Indian in the Cupboard children's movie, but Sierra Toy Soldier Company, 29 No. Santa Cruz Ave., sure feels like it upon walking in.
We stopped by recently while strolling the downtown shopping district and met Myszka Hall, who co-owns the popular business with husband Michael.
The store is a full time toy soldier, model aircraft and model figure retail and online business. The figurines contain amazing detail and historically represent different military conflict battles.
The store even brings in guest speakers such has Harry Berkheimer, a WWII veteran who spoke Saturday evening at a special event for its customers.
Sierra Toy Soldier Company has been in operation for four years and is a haven for collectors of all ages.
