<strong> </strong>Rishi Kumar, the founder of &#34;Saratoga&#39;s Got Talent&#34; and &#34;Silicon Valley&#39;s Got Talent&#34;, works in Silicon Valley high-tech. Rishi moved to Saratoga in 2001 with his family from the mid-west. Rishi supplements his high-tech background with in-depth knowledge of media along and an innovative vision.<br><br>Rishi  has emerged as a pioneer in media production and management in the Silicon Valley. Rishi develops and promotes talent, along with subjects of interest for the international diaspora such as entertainment, art and performance events. <br><br>Rishi has strangely discovered his calling in Arts &amp; Entertainment, not exactly in alignment with his geeky high tech background. <br><br>After running and hosting a series of quarterly&#34;Wine and Cheese Karaoke&#34; gatherings, and monthly &#34;Saratoga Village Karaoke&#34; events, Rishi launched &#34;Silicon Valley&#39;s Got Talent&#34; in the summer of 2011; followed by the successful TV Show &#34;Silicon Valley&#39;s Got Talent&#34; in January of 2012<br><br>Rishi also functions as the host/ Emcee of &#34;Silicon Valley&#39;s Got Talent&#34; monthly event and TV show.<br><br>Rishi has discovered a creative streak to his geekiness, but has combined the strong process skills based on his Engineering/ Technology heritage, along with strong social media skills, in integrating and bringing together a community and creating value propositions at various levels and for various segments of Silicon Valley&#39;s demographics.<br><br>Rishi has also lately taken the talent show and translated that into addressing a social agenda. As the founder and Chairman and CEO of &#34;Saratoga Cares Foundation, he launched a &#34;Saratoga&#39;s Got Talent&#34; annual competition in June 2012, raising much needed funds for the Saratoga senior center. This annual competition had Assemblyman Jim Beall, San Jose councilman Ash Kalra, current and former councilmen and mayors of Saratoga along with Saratoga’s music teachers in attendance. It is widely regarded as an exemplary community event that brought the community together while contributing towards a good cause. The Saratoga Cares Foundation also brought to Saratogans two events in 2012 - Saratoga Dandia and Saratoga Diwali Mela 2012. <br><br>As a community volunteer, former planning commissioner, and chair of  &#34;Saratoga Cares Foundation&#34;, Rishi is heavily invested in the success of the local community.  Recently he has also founded the Bay Area SatyAgrah Political Action Committee, its mission to further local issues and candidates and promoting “fair and balanced policies”.
