I wanted to post this comment about Stephen Peet and his candidacy for Post 2. I have never been one to be political, but I believe that it's extremely important that we elect Stephen Peet as City Council Member Post 2.
Both my wife and I believe that Stephen is the preferred candidate from our Post to represent our city. He has lived in Peachtree Corners for
many years, and has served in leadership roles in both Scouting and the Norcross High School Band. Stephen is a Scouting National Youth Leadership Training Leader, has served on the Gwinnett County School Board Curriculum Advisory Committee, the GCPS Superintendent's Advisory Committee, as well as the Advisory Committee for Simpson Elementary. He was also a board member of the Peachtree Station Homeowners Association. At a recent meet and greet, Stephen impressed all of us by listening to our concerns, answering our questions sincerely, and asked us for our input. He really put our minds at ease with his thoughts on how our new city might take shape, efficiently and effectively, without offering corporate platitudes on topics unrelated to how a city would operate.
I know that everyone may not have voted to become a city, but now that we are, it's important that we have the right people to represent our interests!
Please vote for Stephen Peet on March 6th!
