The small all residential City of Monte Sereno is located between Saratoga and the Town of Los Gatos. The city has aMore population of more than 4,000 residents who live in about 1,200 households, and was incorporated in 1957. The 1.56 square mile city is governed by City Manager Brian Loventhal and Council members Curtis Rogers, Burton Craig, Sue Garner, Lana Malloy and Marshall Anstandig. Like the Town of Los Gatos, the Santa Clara County Fire Department provides fire protection services. Police services are provided by the Town of Los Gatos' Police Department, which also has its name. Library services are provided by the Santa Clara County Library system.
